In Memory of Maureen Gallagher

A message from Maureen’s family- August 2019:

I just wanted to pass on to you, and your team, the wonderful response from patients on the Wrap. To have something beautiful to wear to treatments for a diagnosis that brings fears and tears makes the journey a bit easier. The staff that worked with Maureen get excited to see a patient wearing the Wrap – the different patterns and fabrics are amazing. So two sad events can be lightened because of the Radiant Wrap.

I don’t think I can thank you enough for working with us to make my sister’s death a positive. It’s the work of you, and your team, that brings a bit of beauty into tragedy.

May your work continue to lighten hearts…

A message from Maureen’s family- July 2019:

The family of Maureen Gallagher have arranged to honor her memory with the purchase of patient tunics using donations to the Sacred Heart Foundation. These tunics, marked with an embroidered shamrock on the sleeve and including a small card explaining the connection to Maureen, will be given for free to patients beginning their treatment at the Sacred Heart Cancer Center in Pensacola, FL, where Maureen worked as a Radiation Therapist.

Maureen loved her work and more, she loved the people she treated. She brightened the lives of her patients with her friendliness and humor such that many looked forward to treatments just to see Maureen. She also loved celebrating and decorating for Saint Patrick’s Day. These led us to provide the tunics to patients for free with an embroidered shamrock in her memory.

The family extends their gratitude to Koray Lucas at The Radiant Wrap (https://www.radiantwrap.com/) for working with us to create this wonderful tribute to Maureen.
