Can fashion help beat cancer?

It’s depressing that there are enough women undergoing harsh radiation treatments to make this a viable business prospect, but calamities have spawned many things.

Radiant Wrap garments are a stylish alternative to traditional hospital gowns made specifically for women undergoing radiation treatments for breast cancer. The founder is a 23-year-old whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

As a result of her treatment, founder Koray Lucas, a recent business graduate, launched this fashion endeavor. Her goal is give breast cancer patients an extra measure of comfort, beauty and wellness.

It’s cliche to say that women like pretty things, but whatever works is worth a try. When have dull, utilitarian hospital gowns done anything to lift anyone’s spirits.

By contrast the Radiant Wrap sells for $59 at theradiantwrap.com and they are constructed of 100 percent soft polyester in an array of happy, feminine and worthwhile prints. The V-neck wraps feature no Velcro, buttons, snaps or extraneous ties, so they can cinch tightly but be easily loosened by medical staff with just one adjustment.

One size fits most and each wrap comes with a matching carry bag. You can pick your color or pattern from a variety of seasonal choices.
